Zach Shlien,  Certified Personal Trainer, ISSA, CPT

Personal Bio: My physical fitness journey began when I was 16 years old working out in
the local gym after school. That passion continued throughout college until I became
professional personal trainer directly after graduating. I began my fitness career at a
luxury corporate gym in Boston’s financial district where I amassed over 7,000 hours of
personal training. I developed a skillful ability to recognize movement patterns and
implemented programs that maximized client results. I became an independent
personal trainer 3 years ago because I offer elite training without the luxury corporate
gym prices.

Training Philosophy: I train for functional strength. I train you for what is most important
in your life. Is that be chasing around the children? Performing highly in your sport?
Living pain free? Or just looking and feeling good? The program is focused on YOUR
goals. I teach people how to maximize their muscles to their utmost potential. This
means activating dormant muscle and unleashing it to become superhuman. I look

Robert Brockelman (Brock), Certifed Personal Trainer, AAPT

I grew up in central Massachusetts as an overweight teenager living an often unhealthy lifestyle. I loved food, and I had to learn about proper nutrition and incorporate that knowledge into my everyday training. This helped change my outlook on life. I learned that diet is an integral part of an exercise program, but it doesn’t have to be scary or difficult. The body is a machine, and it needs proper fuel to stay active, fit, and most of all:  healthy. 

I participated in many outdoor sports and cardio training, and I began my fitness career with a love for hiking and anything cardio-related. I attended college in Florida majoring in Exercise Science and am a graduate of the American Academy of Personal Training. I have spent the past 15 years building my knowledge and experience in fitness training so that I can help my clients develop proper form, challenge their bodies, and change up their routines to make sure their goals are met.

Ashley is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  Her wellness journey began at a very early age when she was exposed to fitness and personal training through her mother, a Certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor.  As a kid, she watched the positive impact her mom made on her clients’ health and happiness time and time again, truly inspiring her. Despite growing up around such a positive influence, she went through a difficult time throughout her late teen and college years where she developed unhealthy eating and exercise behaviors as a way of coping with emotional distress.  Overcoming this and bringing balance back to her body was one of her greatest challenges, and further propelled her passion for helping people with similar circumstances. 

Obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and completing extensive college coursework in Nutritional Sciences, Ashley always believed that fitness is just one piece of the puzzle in achieving optimal health.  In addition to working as a Certified Personal Trainer, Ashley has also worked in nutrition within the integrative medicine field where she developed her appreciation for a holistic, highly personalized approach to lifestyle change and fitness programming.  She believes there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” fitness program—each client is multi-dimensional, thus their exercise program should reflect them as a unique individual and not just the latest trends. 

Ashley is very open minded when it comes to training and believes there is a place for all types of exercise modalities in the fitness arena, however she specializes in corrective exercise, strength training, core/stability/balance, weight management, and functional training.

Melissa Solomon,  Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA

Movement and fitness have always been a big part of my life.  My mom was a fitness instructor, and my dad was a runner, skier and still is at the age of 80 an avid cyclist.  I began teaching fitness classes and doing Personal  Training  25 years ago.  Through experience, trial and error and many different fitness crazes, I’ve learned that all bodies are NOT the same, but ALL bodies NEED to MOVE! 

My approach with each client is to teach them proper and safe technique  so that I can push them to have the most challenging, effective injury-free workouts.  I specialize in developing functional workouts and workouts that move in all planes of motion (bodies are meant to move in all different directions)!  I am experienced in HIIT, Tabata, Kickboxing, and Outdoor training, that I try to incorporate into my clients individual programs.

I came to the U.S. from Ecuador when I was 5 years old. I was a skinny kid, physically awkward, and playing sports did not come easily for me. I felt very different from the other kids in school, especially the tall, athletic ones who just seemed to tower over me.

At 17, I enrolled in a weight-training class that started lifelong passion for fitness. Now just past 50, I continue to practice what I preach.

​I earned my degree as a Certified Occupational Therapist at Becker College and became a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). I have been training clients for over 25 years.

I founded SoulfulBody Fitness with
my own unique client-centered philosophy that integrates mind and body training in custom-blended programs designed to address every client’s individual needs. I emphasize proper form, and my clients see results without the injuries that can happen with less experienced trainers.
